I have a favourite bench in the woods where I walk. To get there I have to climb across two or three fields, walk up a gully and there it is, surrounded by aged trees.
Where’s the song in that? Well it is a place of peace and solitude that I come to, often to create or write, sometimes to just hear the silence and learn from it. And, I was coming down the fields the other da when this song lit up in my thoughts!
It’s James Taylor singing Up On The Roof.
We all need a place we can go to where the world is left behind and we can create or learn from the silence.
Hoping you have found your place.

My song for that valentine weekend was, Love Like This, a old southern gospel. I was suppose to sing it at church but got sick but my sweet daughter stepped in for me.
