I made a mistake once
Somewhere on the way
I didn’t do it again
Until the other day,
I felt something was missing

I admit it’s not so easy

With life I’m having to play.

I want to be quite human
I’d be glad to be like you
So help me to get it wrong
Please help me carry it through,
I want to be far from perfect
Free from expectation too
To live in anonymity
Not leave a single clue,
Storing errors for tomorrow
Taking a forward view
To all my good intentions
I try to remain quite true.
