A wise man once told me:

Never assume on grace.

Good words to live by because the danger of taking others and their kindness for granted as time goes on is all too easy, all too tempting. Grace has a shelf life and boundaries, both people’s grace and Divine grace. Treat others as you’d wish to be treated. It’s a good guideline.
