It’s Monday, Pogue,
And as befitting any good Monday here’s a thought to start you off.
So 2020 has been a year unlike any other, right down to the Presidential elections last week.
It’s been a year no one could have predicted, not even the best informed or brilliant mind. We’ve lived in ways we never foresaw and would have believe possible 12 month ago. I’m now required to go to my bank wearing a mask. Add my dark glasses and hat and, well a year ago I may have been arrested!
So here’s my thought. Having been the year no one saw coming what has 2020 got planned for her encore? I mean, every unique act plans an encore, right?
I’ll leave you to think about it.
Here’s to another week.
Wic.
Since March 27th we have been required to wear our masks when we leave our houses, and actually stand to get a criminal record and large fine if you are caught outdoors without one. I believe this will carry into 2021. And my thoughts were, ”Hmmm… so does this mean that criminals WON’T be robbing places wearing masks anymore?” It made me smile for some silly reason.
Things have indeed changed in a way none of us could possibly have thought they would.
Love, and everything that goes with it (acts of kindness, compassion etc.), has not, however. And is even more desperately needed right now. ❤
