Dear Pogue,

Just a quick thought to remind us both that there is magic in our world with one of my favourite quotes. People need to be told that over and over.

We started to exchange letters on freethinkers and it will take a freethinker to find that place. Undoubtedly it is a place filled with wonder and mystery, but you and I are those who believe that there’s more to this world than most will admit to.

Let me encourage you to seek the wonder, to believe that there are no boundaries except those we create in our own thoughts. There are no limits.

And yes it is dangerous to live in that place because you will find yourself in unchartered territory sooner or later. Then you will find yourself in places others are not prepared to go or even concede exist, which can make you the odd one out, or just odd in their eyes. You Mad Hatter, you.

And if you seek after enlightenment, which is where the place of true wonder and mystery lies, if you want to stand in a land where there are no limits you may well be seen to be mad.

But luckily, there are a few more like us out there and, hey, who doesn’t want to live in a place full of wonder?
