I want for nothing
Despite what you tell me
I know not hunger
Nor feel the cold
My clothes are adequate
For many occasions
I have choice
Indeed I am blessed
And for pleasures
Books
Coffee
Wine
With simple open conversation
In the evening
As we count the stars
I agree whole-heartedly! I just am always wary these days to say that “ I am blessed” — it’s crazy, I know, but I wonder when I say it— are those without these pleasures “not blessed?”

I think being blessed is an attitude of mind. And the less it takes for me to feel blessed the happier I will be. Contentment with a simple life, whilst running counter to the spirit of the age, is the greatest blessing
